Description Of The Position/Job Details:
We are looking for a dedicated Ruby on Rails developer to join our client’s team.
Ruby on Rails is one of our key technological focuses. We have years of experience building projects from the MVP stage to fully developed products. Currently, we are looking to build up a team dedicated to working for a client within the healthcare industry. If you are looking for a new challenge and would like to improve your skills while working on a meaningful healthcare project, LLInformatics may just be the perfect fit for you!

Contract Type: B2B, UoP
Location: Warsaw or the possibility of remote work


Your tasks and responsibilities:

Implementing new functionalities on our client’s platform;
Solving complex programming challenges using while improving your knowledge;
Doing regular code reviews/PR reviews for your colleagues;
Maintaining existing code and bug fixing;
Writing unit, integration, and E2E tests.

Job requirements

We need you if you...

Are a back-end or full-stack developer with 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails
Are familiar with Active Record and Rspec
Worked on a production application in AWS or Heroku
Worked with RDBMS like PostgreSQL
Have experience with writing tests/TDD or culture of testing your own code
Have experience in building server-side apps, using the MVC pattern, or something similar
Have a solid understanding of how web applications work
Express interest in functional programming and have some functional programming experience
Have an understanding of distributed systems and resilient applications
Have practical knowledge of how to communicate with REST API
Are familiar with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
