Linux System Administrator (TechOps) for PHS (offline) $3000-3500

Required skills:

3+ years of experience in administrating linux systems.
Working technical knowledge of current software protocols, and Internet standards, including TCP/IP.
Experience with one of programming languages (Shell, Perl, Ruby, Python)
Experience of Configuration Management systems, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code including
Experience with monitoring systems such as Nagios, Grafana, Sensu, and Zabbix.
Skills in linux operating systems troubleshooting experience.

As a plus:

Experience with Perl language.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
Collaborate with engineering staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
Daily maintenance and problem resolution, operating system patches and software upgrades, and routine hardware configuration.
Assist in the design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
