Ruby On Rails Developer (offline) $3500-5500

Required Skills
- 4+ years experience designing/architecting and shipping production code in Ruby on Rails.
- Demonstrate mastery of computer science fundamentals and design patterns (algorithms, data structures, etc.).
- Expert knowledge of SQL (PostgresSQL preferred) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
- Experience with Crystal, Elixir, Go, Java, or Kotlin a plus.
- Love for data, analytics and DevOps (AWS, and Azure) a plus.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a Ruby on Rails Backend Engineer with experience building web services for high-volume, consumer-facing websites and mobile applications. You will be responsible for designing and creating a mission-critical content management and publishing system that will help facilitate the delivery of apps, audio, book and videos to millions of users across multiple networks around the globe.

As well as sitting in a cross-functional Scrum team and taking part in planning, stand-ups, demos and retros, you’ll also be a member of the Backend team and work closely with colleagues to improve and innovate our approach and execution of backend-specific software development.
