Ruby Engineer (offline)

ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Our customer is an E-commerce platform that helps brands create unique buying experiences and optimize their online stores. It specializes in the fields of eCommerce, Shopify, big commerce, web development, web design, and web content management. The product is the heart of customer’s platform, it helps building e-commerce websites for their users.
We are looking for Ruby/RoR engineer with experience building, integrating and designing complex solutions. Come help us build a beautifully simple and secure e-commerce experience.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work according to established processes while tightly collaborating with the stakeholders
Take part in requirements analysis, tasks planning, estimation, coding and troubleshooting
Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product
Research and evaluate technical options to implement business requirements
Maintain existing test framework (increase tests coverage, increase efficiency, fix flaky tests, etc.)
Work closely with product management to build new features
Provide support to internal operation teams to ensure systems are compliant and secure
Risk estimations and management
Report to TL and stakeholders about current status, technical and other risks

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Commercial Ruby on Rails experience, 3+ years
Commercial WEB development experience 3+ years
Postgres, Mongo, Sidekiq
GraphQL (Apollo)
Unit testing experience
Solid understanding of refactoring, robust testing (TDD/BDD), experience with code review
Intermediate English or higher

WOULD BE A PLUS:
React experience
Experience with CI/CD (Heroku, CircleCI)
