About The Role
We are looking for a Data and Reporting analyst to join the Business Intelligence team. You will focus on driving business intelligence optimization by transforming data and information into actionable insights for our stakeholders across the globe. You will have a deep understanding of the reporting toolbox & capabilities and make sure we’re globally aligned on the way we report our performance.
A person in this role is comfortable with “all hands on deck” environment, eager to solve non-structured problems and thrive in a hustle startup culture.
What You’ll Do:
- Own data inflow and transformation processes, set structure and reporting principles to make sure we are moving in the right direction;
- Make sure our reporting is up to date and consistent across multiple platforms;
- Setup and own business and operation metrics single source of truth;
- Maintain data and reporting knowledge base;
- Be a vocal and proactive partner to your stakeholders. Guide their line of questioning rather than just fulfilling requests;
- Know where to find the right data to answer a question. Be persistent in ensuring data quality and resourceful in getting data that is not immediately available;
- Be comfortable outside of your comfort zone - understand always-changing business needs, explore new tech and tools, trace data issues to the source, or find a new way to address an old problem.
What You’ll Need:
- 1+ years of data and analytics experience in a technology company;
- Strong SQL skills;
- Knowledge and experience with Python/ETL/Pipelines;
- Hands on experience with data migration and manipulation tools (Fivetrant, Airflow, DBT, Stitchdata or similar);
- Experience with BI tools management (Looker, Tableau, Qlik etc.);
- Clear, concise communication skills and ability to tailor your communication to different cross-functional stakeholders;
- Extreme attention to detail;
- Humble, helpful and kind but able to say no so you can ruthlessly prioritize;
- Proactive, and willing to roll with the punches as the company experiences hypergrowth;
- You’re comfortable working with ambiguity and forging your own path;
- You deliver results quickly with iteration, instead of waiting for perfection.
