AWS Security/DevOps engineer (offline)

Now, as we grow fast and smart, Avenga is looking for an AWS Security/DevOps engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.

Our client is a London-based company, which provides investment management and administration expertise to a diverse set of customers by offering them different financial services.

Join us and you will have an opportunity to work on a long-term project and deal with such technology stack: Python, R, Chalice, AWS, Kafka, MQ, SNS, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Docker, Plumber, Ubuntu, R Services Linux/Unix, Bamboo, Bitbucket.

Skills and requirements:

3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer;
Solid experience with AWS;
Knowledge of at least one scripting language: Python, Bash;
Hands-on experience with Linux system administration;
Experience with automation tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, and pipeline as a code approach;
Knowledge of Ansible assessment;
Confident user of IaaC approach using CloudFormation and Terraform;
Work with automated security testing tools for code, templates, infrastructure;
Solid with different DevOps approaches like GitOps, DevSecOps, etc;
Experience in configuring monitoring and logs aggregation tools;
Intermediate strong or upper intermediate level of English.

Responsibilities:

Perform security audit of the infrastructure;
Lead the technical vision and road-mapping for the team from a security standpoint;
Identify and deploy security tools and systems to solve capability challenges;
Participate in a product design session and provide security review and consultancy;
Recognize, adopt and instill best practices in security engineering fields throughout the organization.
