Responsibilities:

Maintaining database in AWS environment
Troubleshooting
Requests execution
Infrastructure building and configuration
Linux command line
Shell or Powershell or Python scripting
Migration MySQL to PostgreSQL.

Requirements

Experience in maintaining databases in cloud environment. Postgres and Clickhouse are strongly preferred, but experience with other databases may be considered. We are looking for the ability to optimize, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability of the databases.
Experience with cloud technologies, AWS is strongly preferred, but other cloud technologies may be considered. Specifically in AWS, we are looking for prior experience with RDS, VPC, Route53, EBS, S3, EC2, SNS
Experience with complex SQL on RDBMS and distributed columnar storage, preferably Postgres and Clickhouse, or BigQuery, Snowflake. Familiarity with advanced SQL constructs, best practices, SQL optimization.
Experience with databases horizontal scaling and distributed databases, Postgres physical and logical replication solutions.
Experience in relational and data warehouse data modeling, normalization and denormalization, Star schema.
Strong scripting and automation skills. Shell scripting is a must, python is very desirable, Go is nice to have.
Experience with source control solutions, preferably git.
