Senior Database Developer (Financial sector) (offline)

Responsibilities:
• Development of high-quality database solutions,
• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using MariaDB, or scripting language like JavaScript or Python
• Review and interpret ongoing business requirements,
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements,
• Create new queries.

Qualifications & Skills:
• 6+ years of relevant experience as a database developer or in a similar role,
• Excellent understanding of SQL programming (MySQL, MariaDB, Postgres) is a must.
• 4+ years relevant experience using a programming language like Python, JavaScript, PHP or Java to implement data driven business logic.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or a NoSQL database would be helpful.
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
• Good understanding of business processes in a financial services company
• Dynamic problem-solving skills.
• A great team player.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
