Full-stack Developer for Austrian project (offline)

We are searching for a Full-stack Developer who will help us to modernize our customer data platform working on Frontend, Backend and API´s as well for better integration. We are a cross-functional Team consisting of 8 People which are business and IT experts.

This is what your typical day would look like:

• Write clean, scalable code, remain up to date with concepts and best practices

• Create new features; revise, update, refactor existing code

• Participate in requirements analysis; assist POs in defining requirements and explain the capabilities and limitations of various systems

• Test and deploy developed code, providing technical support

• Implement automated unit tests

• Support the architects to define the software and solution architecture

• Being part of an international, distributed Scrum-team

• Work closely together with business analysts, frontend developer, testers and DevOps

 

Your essential qualities:

• You are educated in the technical field

• You have at least 4-5 years of experience in:

- Frontend: Apache Cocoon, Java Script, CSS, HTML,

- Backend: Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring Framework

• You are familiar with integration based on SOAP (jaxb) and REST-based APIs

• You have mastered knowledge of microservices APIs using OpenAPI Specification (Swagger).

• You can show strong knowledge of SQL- and database

• You have practical experience with Software Configuration Management and Continuous Integration (e.g. GIT/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Teamscale)

• You understand how to work with contemporary collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence, Jira)

• You know Agile and have practical experience with Scrum/Kanban

• You like working in a team and understand how important communication is

• You understand, write and speak English well, because we communicate with international colleagues every day

• Online interview with Delivery Manager in English (1 hour)

• Virtual interview with the team in Vienna in English (1 hour)
