Senior Python Engineer (offline)

We extend our data engineering team.
Work will focus on internal products in the area of outlet analytics or end-to-end marketing measurement.

Technically we implement Python scripts, which occasionally are based on existing proof of concept implementations in R.

Also a test driven development approach (TDD) should be followed.
Experience in agile development processes / Scrum is needed.

* Python, for a minimum of 3 years active project experience
* error handling in data pipelines
* having actually built and maintained ELT/ETL pipelines
* worked with DBMS like Athena/Presto, Elasticsearch or Snowflake actively for > 1 year
* worked with Cloud Services like AWS (S3, actively for > 2 years
* experience in connecting with external RESTful APIs
* understanding of data modelling and transformation, and have handled large datasets in the past
experienced in agile development processes

Would be a plus:
* R for more than 1 year is a plus
* having worked with EMR
* having worked with data enablers like Tray.io or FiveTran

Overall, our core focus of skills is on Python, AWS cloud services, and implementation / management of data pipelines.
