Junior Full Stack .NET Developer (Grant Management and Business Process Automation) (offline)

We are looking for a Junior .NET Developer to work on Danish Grant Management and Business Process Automation products!

Our customer holds leading positions in Swedish and Danish public sectors as a provider of high-quality IT products. Our cooperation with them has been successfully growing for more than 12 years. During this time trustful and mutually respectful relations have been established.
The customer has a great experience in a system for Grant Management, facilitating and stabilizing grants administration by simplifying complex processes. The platform is used by applicants, decision-makers, case officers and administrators quickly and safely through the grants system so that the funding reaches the private individuals to whom it makes a difference – securely, quickly and well-documented.

Project
The project goal is to enhance functionality of the platform used in Danish public sector for grants management.
The customer would like to enhance their team and Sigma is helping with it.

So, the first challenges will be:
- to get familiarized with the enterprise-level product
- to meet the high quality standards of the code
- to work in distributed, international team

Technological stack:
- .NET Core/.NET Framework 4.x
- ASP.NET Core/WebApi
- Angular
- MS SQL Server

Responsibilities
• Code, debug, document, and maintain portions of software
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
• Collaboration on requirements gathering and analysis
• Contribute to development of technical project documentation and user documentation
• Provide assistance to QA engineers and support personnel in solving technical issues of software installation and its operation
• Follow the best engineering practices, the quality criteria set forth on the project, and EQMS requirements
• Report status and progress according to the project and Company demands
• Spot current deficiencies in the development process, adopted procedures and engineering practices, environment configurations, etc., and suggest improvements

Requirements
• At least 1+ year in commercial experience as a software engineer in the web development environment
• Experience with object-oriented design of applications: OOP, SOLID
• Knowledge and practical experience in the areas of .NET Framework, C#
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript
• Basic experience with Angular or any other modern JS framework, like React, Vue.js with readiness to learn Angular quickly
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server
• At least Intermediate level of written and spoken English

• Will be plus:
• Experience with Entity Framework or any other ORM, like NHibernate, Dapper, linq2db
• Experience with WCF/ASMX services
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD process
