YOU ARE
A skilled Python Engineer who is ready to switch your career direction to a Big Data stack and pass an intensive 2-months practical retraining at SoftServe! During the whole retraining program, you will have a mentor and learn through a combination of theoretical and practical assignments. After the program you will know general Big Data concepts, have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Apache Spark, and Datalab/Jupyter notebooks, and be ready to work on real projects!

An expert with
Excellent understanding of distributed computing technologies, approaches, and patterns
3+ years of experience with Python and good experience with backend development
Hands-on experience writing efficient SQL
Understanding of good programming practices along with unit and integration testing
Understanding of basic concepts of relational database design, normalization, and de-normalization
Familiarity with Git and GitHub
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum process
Experience with graphical data representation using Pandas, Numpy, and SciPy is a plus
Theoretical knowledge of BigData/DS/ML as a plus
At least intermediate English (written and spoken)
Self-motivated, Goal-oriented, well-organized, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
