Senior Android Developer (offline)

The development and optimization of the mobile application is your responsibility
You carry out tests, identify technical problems and derive solutions
Together with Product Owners, Backend Engineers and the mobile team.

The project is serving video streaming with social networking elements.

BEING PART OF THE TEAM
•Develop native mobile applications for the Android platform
•Build the front-end Android interface with a focus on feature usability and groundbreaking UI
•Work closely with platform's API developers to create and maintain a robust server-client communication.

POWER YOU BRING
•5+ years with Android platform and knowledge of OOP
•Experience with Kotlin
•Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle;
•Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles and best practices;
•Strong experience in creating adaptive UI layouts for various hardware configurations and writing custom views and controls;
•Understanding of design patterns
•Experience with software architecture patterns, such as MVVM.
•Experience with unit testing
•Experience with REST API integration
•A creative mind and taste for intuitive UX
•Upper-intermediate English level
•Be a team player, take responsibility and show integrity in your work.
•Experience with version control
•Understanding of Agile approaches.

Nice to have:
•Understanding of problems and strategies for apps working in low connectivity environments
•Experience with continuous integration, static code analysis, and a taste for good code quality
•Staying up to date with the latest mobile innovations.
