Technical Writer (offline)

Our customer is a mature software product company with 25 years of experience on the market. The company stays current with the latest technologies, methodologies, architectural patterns, implements changes, and solutions according to the best vision of Infopulse specialists.
As a new team member, you will join a fully formed Scrum team, which is both autonomous on the Infopulse side and fully integrated into the customer engineering structures (200+ experts) according to Scrum and Scaled Agile frameworks. After the lockdown ends, business trips to Germany will be required in order to get acquainted with the customer’s corporate culture and engineering practice.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer.
• Have experience in approval of the product documentation.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
• Ability to produce visually attractive materials.
• Attention to detail.
• Fast learner.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• The software we use is SCHEMA ST4.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English;

Would be an advantage:
• Knowledge of German.

Responsibilities:
• Creation and administration of product documentation and enhancement of editorial systems.
• Creating tasks and updating the product documentation. This means researching and evaluating the information necessary for the documentation (subject-specific, and technical contents, specifics relating to the target group).
• If necessary, create customer and/or marketing-specific materials.
• Translating technical documents considering scheduling as well as formal and economic aspects. Ensuring the quality of all product documentation, through mutual checking amongst other things.
• Conducting maintenance and organizational tasks concerning the product documentation, e.g., maintaining the FNT terminology list, correcting and translating product-message-catalog entries.
• Developing and implementing the editorial systems.
• Being a contact person for questions regarding the systems.
• Supporting other departments e.g., helping with system specifications (Epics, User Stories), product marketing material, training, and test concepts.
