DevOps Engineer (offline)

Job Responsibilities:

Taking responsibility for all DevOps activity and ensuring the availability and reliability of our service
Programming application automation and developer tools to allow for smooth and effective day-to-day activity
Collaborating with software engineers to optimize application performance, reliability, failover, and scale
Maintaining the responsibility for the application lifecycle management - CI/CD pipelines, releases and hotfixes
Monitoring and maintaining large production systems, allowing for the customers to navigate the system with agility

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of meaningful industry experience
Experience working with AWS
Experience with Docker, including operating an orchestrator (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm or Amazon ECS)
Experience with Jenkins pipelines
Experience with Linux system administration
Experience with managing NoSQL Databases and large clusters (HDFS, Apache Spark, Elastic)
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
Programming experience in Python/Java

Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Process-oriented with great documentation skills

Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service

Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
