Full stack engineer for fast growing sales tech startup - Elixir/Phoenix, React, PostgreSQL (offline)

Recapped.io is a fast growing NYC startup that makes sales collaboration easy. Sellers and buyers use dozens of tools with segregated information which makes it challenging to stay on top of everything and everyone involved in complex deals. Recapped helps cut through the clutter and noise by keeping everything in one, easy to use, collaborative workspace. Now sellers and buyers can see exactly what is happening and what needs to be done to close deals in record time.

After securing early funding and seeing amazing success from our initial customers and going to market, we are recruiting engineers to take our platform to the next level. As a member of the team, you will be directly responsible in building and shipping features used by our customers on a daily basis. We put an emphasis on delivery and execution over perfection in order to build and ship quickly so we can learn and improve quickly.

We are seeking a middle to senior level software engineer with strong attention to detail and time management skills and be able to work in a collaborative and transparent team to plan and resolve issues together.

Daily tools and tasks:
Planning and collaborating on new features
Elixir/Phoenix (OR deep experience with Ruby or Python and an ability to pick up languages quickly)
React (OR deep experience with similar frameworks and an ability to pick up languages quickly)
HTML
SASS/SCSS
Working with 3rd party APIs and integrations
Focus on application speed, efficiency and security
PostgreSQL database
Github

Bonus:
Writing tests in ExUnit and/or Jest
Knowledge of AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3), Docker, Webpack
Understanding of web application security and/or OWASP
Experience in building performant and responsive applications
