Middle DB Engineer (offline)

Main requirements:

— 2 + years of experience with DBMS MS SQL Server;
— Strong knowledge of T-SQL;
— Understanding the principles of OLTP-system construction;
— Experience with building ETL-processes;
— Good performance of SQL-queries;
— Experience with SSMS, MS Visual Studio, MS SQL Profiler.

Common skills:

— Ability to work in a team;
— Ability to work with someone else’s code;
— English level: Intermediate or higher;
— Code testing skills.

As a plus:

— Experience with Data Warehouses;
— Experience with large volumes of data;
— Experience with Tableau or Power BI;
— Experience with cubes;
— Experience with MS Visio / UML;
— Experience with XML and JSON.

Responsibilities:

— Database architecture development, creation, and modification of existing business logic of Database, preparation of data for analysis and reports;
— Database normalization, indexation, and optimization;
— Writing triggers, stored procedures, and functions, the ability to analyze query plans, testing code;
— Working with data arrays, extracting, transforming, and loading data;
— Development and maintenance of query execution to the linked servers;
— Technical documentation development and implementation.
