Senior JavaScript Engineer (Berlin) (offline)

Assignment:
Desktop Shopping is looking for colleagues to help to build companies official browser extensions.
The initial product will allow users to authenticate into their companies accounts, add and retrieve items from their Wishlists, create Ghost Cards and expose smoooth shopping process through a Shopping Assistant. All from the comfort of their Chrome browser!
The team is being built from the ground up, which gives YOU an opportunity to participate in technical discussions that will shape our architecture going forward!
We will build upon solutions created by other teams, exposing them to an entirely new client base. As an engineer, you’ll be on-call, responsible for providing support for both the extension clients and the backend services that you write.

Profile requirements:
Frontend heavy, moderate backend work
● ChromeExtensions (great to have)
● Experience with highly available services running in Production (good to have)
● React + Redux (90% of work)
● NodeJs (10% of work)

Good to have
● Previous experience with React-native is a plus
● TypeScript is a plus

● You have above all a passion for solving challenging problems in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
● You take great pride in your ability to grasp complex business scenarios and translate them into solutions with clean and performant code.
● Since we operate in a regulated industry you are happy to follow the processes and procedures necessary to work in that type of environment.
● Good English skills in written and oral communication
