Chief Operating Officer (offline)

The chief operating officer (COO) is a senior executive tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a business.
Key functions:
• Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
• Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals and ensure smooth progress of the business
• Constantly analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary
• Evaluate overall performance by planning, gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
• Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
• Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
• Work closely with human resources to lead team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
• Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations

Knowledge and skills:
• 3+ years of experience as Chief Operating Officer or similar position (Director of Operations etc)
• BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field
• MSc/MA is a big plus
• In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles such as supply chain, finance, customer service, human resources etc.)
• Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
• Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
• Knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
• Knowledge of industry latest trends and best practices
• Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
