Oneview Healthcare - DevOps Engineer role (offline)

The Role

The successful candidate will join our engineering team based in Blackrock, Melbourne & Kyiv. We are a predominantly a Microsoft technical environment and we use the latest .NET technologies and tools – SOA Architecture, Domain Driven Design, Microservices, NHibernate and NServiceBus. We are looking for someone who has hands on experience of working across on premise solutions as well as SaaS products. You will report to the operations manager, working in collaboration with our engineers. You are someone who will make sure that our release process is maintained, automated as much as possible and ensures that we can get code released to our customers frequently and safely.

You should be a technologist at heart and be comfortable demonstrating and describing the different scaling challenges you have had in the past, and the technical challenges you had to overcome in order to deliver a solution. You will challenge the status quo, look for opportunities for improvement everywhere and will lead by example.

Focusing on best practice we operate in agile, cross functional teams who are empowered to make decisions and deliver fast and often, trying to make the gap between deliveries smaller and smaller with each release.

Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the technical delivery of infrastructure and deployment capabilities design, maintenance, logging and monitoring.
2. Mentor and train junior engineers
3. Work collaboratively within a cross-functional, agile development team to solve problems, deliver incrementally, transfer knowledge and contribute to overall product architecture.
4. Adopt an Operational Excellence approach to continuous improvement - test, analyse data and improve constantly.
5. Understand Oneview goals around quality and Engineering discipline, participate in code reviews at the team level.
6. Communicate progress clearly and concisely to the team.
7. Own the delivery of our product from your local desktop right the way through to production.
8. You understand the importance of information security and your responsibility to maintain and ensure it in every process in Oneview Healthcare.
9. You are happy to put your hand up to work on something you aren’t entirely too sure about (you like a challenge)

Requirements:
1. Cloud: Azure Keyvault, Application Gateways, Network Security Groups, Azure App Config.
2. CaC: Chef, Ansible, Puppet or similar
3. Azure Devops, Jenkins, Gitlab or other CI solutions also welcome.
4. Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, Aquasec, Nexus IQ and associated security and standards tooling.
5. CI/CD: Experience of full scale SDLC; Code Quality (Sonarqube or similar), Testing (BDD, Cucumber, TDD, NUnit,Specflow, Newman, Selenium), Build (Msbuild, Docker, Nuget), Publish (Nexus, ACR, Azure Artifacts), Deploy (Terraform, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Octopus)
6. SRE: Experience of Canary, Blue/Green, Zero downtime deployments. 
7. Security: Experience of segregated secrets management for multi-tenanted applications.
