About the Team:

We are responsible for managing cloud operations for Intapp product and services, such as building, automating, monitoring, documenting, securing and managing all infrastructure, and database systems. The team interacts and work cooperatively with development, product management, professional services and other teams and provide expertise that promotes constant performance and improvements to the DealCloud solutions.

Responsibilities:

Using your strong SQL query writing and optimization skills to assist developers and software engineers
Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills
Experience managing, supporting and designing high-availability PostgreSQL database systems
Experience with other types of database systems (Amazon Aurora, RDS, Redshift)
Monitoring and reporting on performance metrics
On-call support in emergencies
Configure and maintain database servers and processes
Monitor system’s health and performance
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
Provide suggestions for solutions
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Proactively monitor and manage critical production systems
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

Our ideal candidate would have:

5+ years of experience working as a Postgres DBA.
5+ years of experience of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options.
5+ years of experience with performance tuning, and optimization.
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on team’s and company’s success.
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
Individually motivated, and good team player.
Be able to perform individually.
Good time-management skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
