Senior Unreal Engine Software Engineer (offline)

We are looking for the Senior Unreal Engine Software Engineer to join our ranks. We believe the ideal candidate has a strong passion for multiplayer gaming and has at least one year of experience in working on multiplayer features on a shipped PC/Mobile/Console title.

Responsibilities:
• Implement gameplay features with a multiplayer perspective
• Create tools to assist the team in debugging multiplayer
• Optimize the bandwidth usage of the game to maintain a great user experience
• Re-engineering of existing code to meet new requirements and implement new technologies
• Writing of clean, maintainable, portable and well-documented code
• Cooperate with designers, animators, programmers and testers to bring suggestions to a needed feature
Requirements:
• Experience in game development (3+ years)
• Experience in Unreal Engine 4 or any other modern C++ game engine (3+ years)
• Proficiency in C++ programming
• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong 3D math skills and good knowledge of algorithms
• A good understanding of performance and optimization
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and portable code
• Ability to filter diverse feedback from artists, designers and programmers and propose effective solutions

Good to have:
• Experience in platform specific services and APIs available for online presence, e.g. PSN, Xbox Live, Steam, PlayFab and Agones
• Experience in cloud technologies AWS Gamelift \ Google Game Cloud
• Experience in Agones and Kubernetes
• AAA games development experience
• Animation programming experience
• Experience in VR
• Experience of developing for iOS or Android is beneficial
• Some knowledge of other programming and scripting languages
