DevOps Engineer (offline)

Required skills
• Experience with large scale cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong background in Linux administration.
• Proficiency writing advanced scripts for automation (Ruby, Python, Bash, and so on).
• Understanding of network topologies and architectures (Wireshark, iptables).
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools.
• Strong interpersonal and customer care skills.
• Proficiency writing code with Golang, Python, PHP, Ruby.
• Experience with networking equipment and technologies (BGP, GRE, Quagga, Cisco, Juniper).
• Experience with VoIP technologies (SIP, Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, OpenSIPS/Kamailio).
• Experience with large scale systems.
• Experience with CI/CD systems (for example, TeamCity, Jenkins).
• Experience with orchestration tools like Ansible/Saltstack/Puppet.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Couchbase, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Redis, and so on).
• Experience with the administration of MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with containers (Xen, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, LXC, and so on).

Responsibilities
• Support cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) applications.
• Collaborate with R&D teams for application infrastructure, deployment, and operations.
• Use monitoring tools to find problems, resolve, and/or escalate to development.
• Build and manage development and testing environments, assisting developers in debugging application issues using tools.
• Participate in the building of tools and processes to support the infrastructure.
• Contribute to the creation of system support documents.
• Leverage scripting to build required automation and tools (for example, configuration management).
• Learn on the job and explore new technologies with little supervision.
