Sales Engineer (offline)

We’re looking for a motivated, ambitious team player to help deliver on the value of Siteplus and enable partners to sell more. This is a cross-functional role with focus on acquiring, setting up, onboarding, and supporting new partners. You'll be working with multiple teams of internal and external stakeholders, including partners in Southeast Asia, Europe, USA, Australia, and New Zealand. This includes close collaboration with several key business functions such as: product management, sales/biz dev, development, QA, project management, marketing, and support.

You’ll own or contribute to developing relationships through the full customer (partner) lifecycle (pre-sales-to-post-sales), as well executing processes and strategies to more effectively manage customer success objectives in driving revenue growth.

What you will do:

Work directly with prospects and new partners to close new business and ensure successful on-boarding & integration.
Become a subject matter expert on our product, industry, and competition.
Execute pre/ post sales processes, displaying technical and product expertise.
Determine client needs and making appropriate recommendations for current and future value-added products and services.
Conduct product demonstrations and assist with configurations (when possible).
Deliver structured onboarding, training, and services on the technical, tactical and strategic capabilities of the system.
Help to proactively manage accounts to identify opportunities for improvement, eliminate risk or churn, and increase revenue.
Help ensure that account issues are resolved quickly, liaising across Product, Development, Support, Sales, Project Management, etc.
Champion internal and external communications and provide feedback to the product and sales teams.
Adhere to Project Management methodologies (planning, time management, communications, etc.) to deliver these services.
Keeping the necessary parties up to date on the status of your project/engagements and escalating as appropriate.

Attributes we’re looking for:

Business-minded and opportunistic - able to successfully match business needs to proposed solutions.
3+ years prior experience in any combination of the following: sales engineering, client onboarding, B2B sales, consulting, marketing, or customer success in a technology business
Competent, fun, friendly and business savvy skill-set.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, soft-skills, attention-to-detail, and organizational skills.
Candidate must be tech-savvy to the point of being able to discuss the most intricate technical details, and communicate these details eloquently and professionally to our partners.
Web hosting, web design, Cloud, or website builder experience (preferred).
Any of the following skills (preferred): JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3, Linux, SysAdmin, PHP, JSON, APIs (REST, HTTP), PHP
Business -fluent in English .
Experience providing onboarding, solution plans, and structured training to clients.
Passion to exceed customer expectations while exceeding company revenue goals.
Positive demeanor, and ability to persevere through multiple customer challenges each day.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and adapt to continual change in a fast-paced environment.
