Senior Python Developer with Pandas library experience (offline)

Project Description:
Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes.
We are currently looking to expand our Kyiv team with a Python developer, who will be focused on a new development of a Risk Factor Repository component, which is a part of a big FRTB project for existent Risk application, mostly developed in .NET.
Our team: Rapidly expanding group in Kyiv developing and supporting a range of client projects and requirements
Technologies used: Python, .NET, Azure, large number of vendor solutions for capital markets including Murex. MS SQL as RDBMS.
Opportunities: The role opens possibilities for working directly with client representatives, expanding technical and capital markets knowledge, developing consultancy / soft skills. Successful candidate may be required to travel to London, UK for initial induction.


Responsibilities:
• Communicating with client on requirements clarification.
• Proposing the solution, application design.
• Programming in Python, SQL.


Mandatory Skills:
• At least 3 years of programming experience in Python.
• Experience with Pandas library or PySpark is a must.
• At least 1 year of programming experience in C#.
• At least 3 years programming experience with MS SQL or Oracle, strong query writing skills.
• Ability to communicate verbally with client in English: written/spoken English on upper-intermediate level or higher.
• Understanding common SDLC.


Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Azure would be a big plus.
• Experience with Apache Spark or Azure Databricks would be a big plus.
• Experience with financial risk would be a big plus.
• Experience with C# 8.0 (.NET framework 4.6.2) would be a plus.
• Experience with Unity would be a plus.
• Mathematical background would be a plus.
