Here are a few things to keep in mind
- Polygraph — be prepared that one of the interview stages will be a polygraph test. Companies typically use private services for this, and the whole procedure takes on average 1.5–2 hours.
- Office — 90% of deftech jobs require working from the office, with no remote option. This is partly due to security requirements, partly a consequence of the high pace of work and rapid changes.
- Military deferment — deftech projects usually offer 100% deferment for employees, even at private companies. If your military registration documents aren't in order, this is usually sorted out as well.
- Motivation — most people come into deftech consciously; it's their personal and values-driven choice. This strongly shapes the atmosphere and relationships within the team. "We're all working for a common cause," as we were told at one of the companies.
