Front-end Developer (offline)

Job Purpose / Executive Summary:

Creating user-friendly and high-class web applications from design to application development and driving the long-term development strategy planned for Lean Scale and its clients. Ownership of end-to-end product quality, from developing and maintaining core app frameworks to eliminating scroll junk, helping to make the web sites more reliable, performant and delightful while ensuring continuous improvement for the initiatives of the Company and selected clients of the Company. Building web apps with React with server side rendering support. Create a generic codebase that we can use for any Magento project.

Key Functional Responsibilities:

● Apply the best practices of developing Server Side Rendered or Single Page Applications using react framework.
● Work with Lean Scale and its partner ecosystem Functions (Entrepreneurship In Residence, Product Management, Data & Insight, Marteching, Technology teams, Brand & Content Marketing, Product Design partners and any other required parties) to serve to Lean Scale clients and its own initiatives.
● Be flexible and understanding of Agile principles.
● Close collaboration with the product owner on the business side and the business analysts with the aim of gathering specifications and performing the assessment of the effort needed to implement them.
● Work with the Solution Architects to ensure the team delivers to best practice & quality guidelines.
● Daily review of code developed and related critical evaluation, with particular attention to UX, stability and performance issues.
● Implementation of the QA process, in collaboration with the relevant team.
● Proposal and evaluation of services and external libraries to be integrated into the applications, through the development of POCs.
● Drive feature development and help improve end-to-end product quality.
● Contribute for cross-team development of common libraries.
● Unwavering commitment to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
● Write Unit Tests.
● Implement complex solutions with state-of-the-art technologies together with the team.

Functional Skills:

● Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
● Strong knowledge of ReactJS framework.
● Strong knowledge of css transpilers like Sass, Less or Stylus.
● Strong knowledge of web performance (First byte, load time, execution time etc).
● A passion for the web and an eagerness to learn.
● Superb written and verbal communication skills.
● Excellent organisational skills.
● An ability to work autonomously and manage your workload and deadlines effectively.
● A readiness to embrace and use new approaches and to keep up-to-date with industry advances.
● A passion for clean code.
● English level from Intermediate is required.

6. Market Entry: We support global clients to have successful MENA market entry following EXO principles.
7. Black Ops Team: We support big consultancy houses for the crucial and challenging period of the projects as white-label Black-Ops team.
8. Operation Gaia: We hire M-Shaped Entrepreneurial People. We encourage them to spin-off new startups from Lean Scale.
