About the vacancy

Our client is a Canada-based fintech start-up, which operates in the area of issuing investments for newly created businesses. The main difference from the standard venture companies is that their business model is based on reserving a part of the profit the company earns after the investment is made, instead of owning a share.

Our client’s platform lets founders register, enter their details, upload their plans and financial statements, and receive money through the site.

Our people work primarily in the front-end team and are responsible for 2 workstreams – internationalization and treasury.

Our tasks include implementation of new functionality, as well as adapting the existing solution to new markets.

We hire people not for a project but for the company. If the project (or your work on it) is over you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.

Must have
- 3+ years of experience building web applications with technologies like (but not limited to): TypeScript, Vue, and Node
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- SQL database programming and performance
- Fundamental knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS
- The experience of working with OOP in JavaScript
- NIX environments, and Operating system details (including processes, threads, and file systems)
- Data structures and algorithms
- Enterprise systems and asynchronous architectures
- Expertise with JIRA, Confluence, or similar systems
- Good spoken English

Would be a plus
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL
