Senior PHP Engineer (Tallinn) (offline)

Your challenges will be:
Solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges
Building the Paxful application platform
Developing various core functionalities
Sustaining and improve Paxful’s coding standards
Writing efficient, testable, and reusable code
Working closely with product engineers to help them build new features effectively
Helping troubleshoot, test, and maintain the product
Performing thorough code reviews and mentor your peers

Is this your skill set?
At least 5 years of development experience with a strong focus on PHP and OOP
Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Strong ability to write reusable code
Experience building libraries and core / platform features
Experience with frameworks like Symfony, Laravel, Yii
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
Deep understanding of SOLID principles
Experience working on systems with complex architectures
Experience working on high-load systems
Good understanding of security threats and “security by design” principles
Willingness to work in a fast-growing environment
Teamwork and good communication skills in English
