PHP / JS Technical Lead in Hosting Development Team (offline)

Required skills

— Excellent knowledge of PHP 7+, MySQL / Postgre, JavaScript
— Experience with one of the following PHP frameworks: Symfony, Laravel
— Familiarity with one of JS frameworks: React, Vue (preferable)
— Strong knowledge of Docker containers
— Knowledge of software design patterns
— Strong OOP skills based on SOLID principles & understanding pros & cons of each way
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
— Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
— Ability to adjust to the change of established working processes and desire to improve them

As a plus

— Understanding fundamental principles of Scrum & Agile frameworks
— Knowledge of Microservices Architecture pattern
— Experience with Node.js and its frameworks (e.g. Express)
— Ability and desire to carefully review code & develop other team members

— Product company is looking for a motivated team member to work on interesting project, which involves working with AWS and Docker infrastructure based on microservices
— You will also have a chance to expand skills in backend (Node.js, PHP, MySQL, Symfony) as well as frontend (Vue)

Project description

The product represents a full-stack web-hosting services provisioning system. Current tasks include support of legacy system components and 3rd party integrations, along with the implementation of new features within the current architecture. At the same time, almost all legacy system components are being replaced by a new-generation product platform into which a new microservice-based web-hosting service provisioning system will be integrated. The new web-hosting service provisioning system consists of new product pages & shopping cart integration, new server provisioning & billing system integration, as well as deep integration and interaction with other Namecheap products.
