Back End Developer (Equity Based) (offline)

Job Details:

Work closely with the lead developer to ensure delivery of all services written in Scala
Make critical decisions around the architecture of the system and individual components
Opportunity to take project ownership of individual modules

Qualifications:

Degree Educated (High Achievers!)
Minimum 3 years of experience in large scale project as Back End Developer
Strong programming fundamentals using Scala/Java 8
Experience with GraphQL is a plus
Advanced English skills, both written and oral
Ability to collaborate effectively with the team
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision
Strong attention to details, security and expectations delivery

Will be an asset:

Knowledge of front end technologies (ECMAScript 6, React, Relay)
Experience using microservices and scalable distributed systems
Knowledge of NoSQL, MapReduce, Akka, Akka-HTTP
Experience with document warehousing
