Senior Java Engineer, Data Processing Solution (offline)

About the vacancy

DataArt's new client is a data start-up company, which is built to collect, store, process, and sell data.

The specialist will join the team that is building the product from scratch. The product organically intersects adtech, fintech, and traveltech solutions.

You will have an opportunity to discuss and influence the project architecture and directly communicate with the customer.

The technology stack is Java (Spring)/Node, React.js and AWS managed services (REST API via AWS API Gateway, Glue, and Athena, AS3 Buckets).

The processes are based on Agile development principles (Scrum, Kanban).

We hire people not for a project but for the company. If the project (or your work on it) is over you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.

Must have
- 3+ years of experience in the development of web applications
- Excellent knowledge of Java
- Experience in the development of applications using the Java Enterprise platform
- Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP), object-oriented design (OOD), and design patterns
- Experience using test-driven development (TDD)
- Experience using object-relational mapping (ORM), IoC containers
- Experience working with Spring MVC
- Knowledge of build tools (Gradle, Maven)
- Experienced team worker
- Spoken English

Would be a plus
- Experience using microservices
- Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular.js, Backbone.js, Bootstrap, jQuery)
- Experience creating rich user interfaces (UI) based on HTML
- Experience with the installation and administration of application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, GlassFish)
- Experience using Continuous Integration systems (TeamCity, Bamboo, Jenkins, Gitlab CI)
