About Seam

Seam builds an API for all the IoT devices around us. A mix of Plaid/Stripe, Seam lets software developers connect and control WiFi locks, thermostats, elevators, EV chargers, and more.

We operate at the intersection of hardware and software, providing an API to the physical world. This means we test and handle lots of third-party devices, and work hard to provide a clean abstraction on top of an otherwise very fragmented ecosystem of devices. We build a little bit of hardware, and code a lot of software.
