Experience

As a dedicated Ruby on Rails Developer, I have amassed over two years of experience in creating high-quality, scalable web applications. My career began as an Intern at EPAM, Kyiv, in November 2020, where I honed my skills in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Rspec through a practical project to develop a movie searcher app. From July 2021 to June 2022, I progressed to a Junior Ruby on Rails Developer role at EPAM, Kyiv. In this position, I was an integral part of the team, contributing to back-end development, managing controllers and services, and ensuring robust model validations. I consistently provided tests for new code using Rspec or Cucumber, utilized Jira for task management, Postman for endpoint checks, and Git for version control. In July 2022, I was promoted to a Ruby on Rails Developer within the same project, reflecting my increased productivity and expertise. This role involved passing an assessment exam to become a Middle developer at EPAM Systems and writing documentation for newly added logic.
Since January 2024, I have been enhancing my technical skills at Luckyfit, where I serve as a Full Stack Developer focusing on front-end and back-end development. My front-end work involves utilizing ExtJs, HTML5, and CSS to create engaging, responsive user interfaces. On the back-end, I engage in migrations and the development and enhancement of existing interactors, controllers, and models in a Ruby on Rails environment. This role demands a strong understanding of both the visual and functional elements of web applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.
Also, I'm working on my own pet project "Book of Recipes". Parallel to my professional journey, I pursued academic excellence, completing a Bachelor of Computer Science at NaUKMA, Kyiv, in July 2022, and currently working towards my Master's degree in the same field.
