Software Engineer (HCI Focus) (offline)

The Exam Systems division of Faria Education Group is looking for a Software Engineer with Human-Computer Interaction focus and hands-on development experience. The location is onsite, at one of our offices in Kyiv or Ivano-Frankivsk. You will mostly work in an iterative and self-directed manner, and you will report to the Head of Exam Systems.

This role responsibility is delivery of User Interface implementation, primarily using HTML5/CSS3 and occasionally utilising either pure JavaScript or frameworks such as Vue or React. It is also imperative that you possess good general knowledge of Web Frameworks such as Django, Rails, etc. and can adapt to technology choices made by the core team. Understanding of fundamental concepts for Web and Desktop programming is also good.

Strong Skills:
• 3+ years of professional experience in Front-End development
• Proficient with Javascript, HTML5/CSS3, jQuery, graphic design, layouts and typography
• Experience with Vue.js, React.js or similar UI frameworks.
• Prior experience with Git
• English - Upper Intermediate (both: writing and oral)

Nice to have:
• Prior experience with existing responsive design frameworks, such as Bootstrap
• General knowledge of Web Frameworks such as Django or Rails
