Intern JAVA (offline)

Project Description:
Our customer has over 30 years of experience in grid power domain and provides 90% of power utilities worldwide to bring power reliably and efficiently and help enable utilities and industry to effectively manage electricity from the point of generation to the point of consumption.
Main project goals are:
• To develop a system that is able to monitor, control, forecast, schedule and optimize distributed energy resources and the power grid.
• To integrate management systems into the grid involving multiple entities and cutting across generation, transmission and distribution functions.
• To provide utility companies with a real-time update on equipment status for variety assets\users.


Responsibilities:
• Communicate daily with analysts, developers, architects.
• Applications development, cooperating with QA team and colleagues in different locations
• Understanding the technology stack and how it impacts their development approach.
• Agile development of feature based deliverables.
• Analyze root-causes in case of incidents and provide solutions for solving the problem.
• Active participation in technical discussions and solutions design.


Mandatory Skills:
• Good knowledge of Software Testing Theory and Software Development Life Cycle, Agile methodology
• Knowledge of Java programming language at beginner level
• Windows and Linux OS usage experience
• Ability to learn new things quickly and have proactive position
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Spoken and written English: intermediate or above (both spoken and written)


Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge with JSON, XML
• SQL knowledge at beginner level
• Basic knowledge in SOAP/RESTful, Docker

English: Intermediate English: Upper-intermediate
