Software security engineer (offline)

Currently, our Lviv office team is looking for a Software security engineer to join our hivecell.io software team. The Team is responsible for software development for products throughout the Hivecell portfolio.

This is a good place for everyone who wants to not just do the work given by PM or lead, but to decide what and how must be done. We ready to provide you as much responsibility as possible.

We are looking for a specialist with:

Experience in Information Security, Security operations.
Experience with VPN services.
Knowledge in network, server, and application-status monitoring;
Expertise in Firewalls, Load balancers, Proxy;
Experience with any cloud providers.
Knowledge in infrastructure-as-code and configuration management ;
Experience in the container ecosystem (Docker, Kubernetes);
Experience automation server - Jenkins, TeamCity.
Working knowledge of known tools like git, and of a scripting language (Bash, Python);
Experience in any build-automation system (e.g. CMake, Gradle, Maven, MSBuild);
Experience in monitoring systems ( we use ELK, Prometheus, Kibana, TICK stack);
Knowledge in software development methodologies;
Good troubleshooting skills, ability to nail down tricky problems; being used to isolating things down to find the root cause
Cybersecurity certifications - SISSP, CISM or other;
Ability to work as a single unit person.

It will be a plus if you have:

Experience with RBAC, helm 2-3, Kubernetes, ARM64 architecture, VMware products, 12-factor app
DevOps experience is a plus
You don't like to spend time for monkey job - automate it.

You will have the following responsibilities:

Planning of ALL processes inside the development team.
Define the security regime for the product;
Help to design and implement a security environment;
Assist in maintaining information security practices and procedures;
Build and maintain detection tools and techniques;
Work with both internal and external groups to ensure systems are securely integrated, configured, managed and supported in production;
Respond to incidents and work with operations and engineering personnel to resolve the problem and return systems to normal operating conditions;
Design and implement automation of various security tools;
Stay on top of the latest technology trends and make recommendations to correct deficiencies and deliver improvements
