Java Developer for Austrian projects (offline)

• Deep experience with Java (REST Services, XML, JSON)
• Good knowledge of SQL and IDEs (Eclipse preferred)
• Experience with one or more DBMSs (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience with source code management solutions (GIT, SVN)
• Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows)
• Open and team-minded personality and communication skills
• Willingness to work in an agile environment
• Good command of English (mandatory)
• Willingness to travel (Austria/Vienna)

• Gather the main requirements for the process part that shall be automated (together with the user)
• Prototype, develop, test software components in an agile approach
• Develop and contribute monitoring code in order to track runtime behaviour
• Develop and contribute health check code in order to check the availability of the features at runtime
• Support users to integrate the software components in their daily operation with the focus on effort reduction and increase of speed and data quality
• Participate and actively contribute in the regular Scrum meetings (daily stand-up, sprint planning, release planning, etc.)

You will work as a team member in the Raiffeisen Bausparkasse Data Group. In your role you will support the product owner and the agile team by creating key figure calculation engines in close cooperation with the product owner, business and the team.
In your daily work you are embedded in a continuous delivery environment and you will analyze, prototype and develop proper software solutions.
