Lead/Senior Java developer (Finland) (offline)

Location: Helsinki, Finland
Position: Senior Java Developer/Lead Java Developer
Salary range: 4000-6000 EUR gross
Relocation package: fully-covered.

Our client is the biggest food-delivery company in Finland, which is by now located in 15 countries. Recently, the company has raised 137 million euro and now actively growing the team. The team is currently building a new microservice to get rid of the old payment flow. This is to be done with Kotlin, using the Spring framework. The old payment flow is written in Python, so any experience with that is highly beneficial.

Must have:
- Experience with Java 8+
- Professional level of English
- Perfect communication skills
- (2+ years of team leading experience for the Team Lead position)

Nice to have skills:
- Kotlin highly preferred
- Can read Python
- Microservices experience
- Have experienced with fintech

Tasks:
- Handle money flow between the company, restaurants and courier partners;
- Build a new microservice architecture;
- Developing new features and product lines;
