FullStack PHP Developer (offline)

OpsWorks Co. is a Ukraine-based outsourcing/outstaffing IT company with headquarter in Kyiv. We are looking for an experienced FullStack PHP Developer who can participate in a large, fast-growing project (New York based company specializing in a CRM tool for the payment processing industry) and must be capable of working independently and collaboratively with other team members to deliver innovative solutions, understanding the business needs and architecting an appropriate solution. This is a full-time and long-term position.

Your Qualifications/Skills:
- At least 3 years of expertise working with PHP programming;
- Strong OOP skills & experience working with MVC frameworks.
- Capable of working with API libraries to quickly interface with custom code;
- Strong experience with Laravel, Symfony, Zend or other MVC-based frameworks.
- Expert knowledge of Javascript, CSS, AJAX and jQuery;
- Experience with databases with the ability to work with MySQL;
- Comfortable using Git and JIRA to manage progress;
- Friendly attitude and honest personality to work with our team which consists of developers, support, QA team and management;
- Upper-Intermediate conversational English level is a must, Ukrainian or Russian native;
- Strong time management and teamwork skills.

Nice to have:
- Agile development experience.

You will be responsible for:
- Working with data feeds from banks, financial institutions and third-party APIs for intake and interpretation of credit card transaction data;
- Developing new features using PHP, OOP and our own MVC-based framework;
- Focusing on assigned tasks by following Kanban methodology in JIRA;
- Participating in code reviews with other developers for knowledge sharing and overall improvement of the application prior to merging into master;
- Interacting with the support team to troubleshoot client reported bugs;
- Designing automated tests to ensure our reporting is as consistent and stable as possible.
