Technical Lead (offline)

We are looking for a Technical Lead to strengthen our large-scale healthcare platform Kyiv team.

Required Skills:

7+ years of experience in Java development
Strong analytical and system thinking skills
Strong architectural background with focus on distributed systems
Hands-on practical experience with Spring Boot ecosystem (MVC, Data, Security, Cloud)
Deep practical experience with microservices architecture
Docker usage for all environments including production
Good habits in unit/integration testing (TDD would be a big advantage)
Work experience in Agile environment
Knowledge of typical integration patterns via DB, API, standard protocols
Problem solving, attention to details and result-oriented mindset
Excellent communication, negotiation, meeting facilitation skills

Desired skills:

Practical experience with ElasticSearch
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server specifics
Infrastructure as a code mindset/tools/approaches
Pair programming experience
Experience in healthcare domain
Self-management skills, ability to handle multi-tasking activities simultaneously

Responsibilities:

Primary communication channel with customer and SME on technical and architectural questions
Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify system requirements
Identify alignments and gaps between end user requirements and system capabilities
Explore integration points with external systems and help dev team with integration
Review key technical decisions from whole system perspective
Technological evangelism, spreading modern engineering, architectural and design practices
Support of architectural consistency and self-consistent technical decisions
Hands-on work on development tasks with the team
Technical risks management
Technical debt work coordination, technical backlog management
Architectural documentation management
Help team with technical decisions and problems
Mentoring and coaching of team members in technical directions
