Senior Unity Developer (VR/AR) (offline)

About the client: It is a Swedish IT-company that creates VR / AR / MR solutions for well-known customers (for example, Ferrari, H&M) in order to increase their brand awareness and value. Together with the technical team, the company develops a brand concept strategy, creates technical solutions, conducts marketing research.

In our collaboration model, you will work and communicate directly with the development team on the client side. This means that you get to work at the Beetroot offices here in Kyiv, while plugging in directly with Stockholm on a daily basis.

Tech stack has not yet been completely formed, since most of the projects you will work in are being written from scratch. There is an opportunity to participate in the architecture development and become a part of a core team, as well as bring up new ideas and solutions to the existing projects.

Good knowledge of Unity or Unreal Engine 4 and experience with VR / AR / MR applications are important to us. And since you will communicate directly with the client, good level of English is definitely useful. Business trips to Sweden are possible.

What else can help you to deal succesfully with this role:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with C# or C++ programming
- Good understanding of real-time computer graphic pipelines
- Track record in creating VR/AR/MR applications
- MSc Computer Science or similar


Also, your responsibilities will include:
- Build experimental prototypes
- Write code for existing and new functionalities
- Write thorough technical specs
- Collaborate with the product team to define, iterate and implement new features.

About the team: in total, on the existing company's projects, the tech team consists of 20 people, who work on several projects (developers + qa specialists + СTO, almost all of them are on-side of the client in Sweden).
