Senior Java Full Stack Developer (offline)

Mission and setup:
- We will partially rewrite, partially migrate PHP code system to Java Core into a cloud-first setup in Google Cloud Platform
- New code for our robust high-volume production solution will be added in the cloud, where we choose the appropriate languages and tools for the task
- We work closely with our operations team to keep things running. You should not be afraid of crossing the borders between development and operations and feel comfortable on Linux servers
- We have direct access to the business team to exactly understand the requirement and focus on the right priorities
- We all strive to keep up to date with new technologies and methodologies and streamline their adoption by the team

Position Requirements:
- You have a university degree, ideally with a specialization in computer science/business informatics and at least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer
- Sound knowledge of agile development methods, Clean Code Developer principles, TDD, CI/CD
- You should be familiar with modern cloud concepts such as containers, Kubernetes, and serverless computing
- Profound knowledge in Java
- Experience with relational database
- Experience with modern JS-Frameworks, e.g. Angular / React / ExtJS / Vue
- Safe handling of large amounts of data, and knowledge of corresponding design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Upper – Intermediate English or German languages

Good to have:
- Experience in big data projects, advanced analytics, and analytical programming languages
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Experience in translating customer requirements into technology
