Team Leader to $7000

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our client’s team and work on a cutting-edge fintech platform specializing in cross-border payment solutions and financial services. This platform facilitates seamless and efficient global money transfers for individuals and businesses, emphasizing accessibility, security, and speed. The system integrates advanced financial infrastructure to support multi-currency transactions while minimizing fees and delays.

As a Team Leader, you will guide an offshore development team responsible for maintaining and enhancing this remittance product. The role involves technical leadership, hands-on development, and ensuring smooth coordination between the offshore team and the main office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers (senior, mid-level, entry-level), a Flutter developer, and a QA engineer.

• Oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the remittance platform, ensuring robust performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with the product team to gather and prioritize requirements, delivering high-quality results on time.

• Participate in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and consistency.

• Define and enforce best practices for software development, including CI/CD processes and agile methodologies.

• Contribute hands-on to development tasks when necessary, particularly in NestJS and React, and troubleshoot complex technical challenges.

• Provide technical guidance for backend and frontend development and resolve issues related to legacy PHP systems.

• Facilitate smooth communication between the offshore team and the main office.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development.

• At least 3 years in a Team Leader or similar role, managing cross-functional development teams.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in NestJS and backend development using TypeScript.

• Strong knowledge of React for modern front-end applications.

• Experience with PHP (legacy systems) is an advantage.

• Familiarity with databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.

• Understanding of mobile development principles (experience with Flutter is a plus).
