Senior Backend Focused Engineer

On behalf with our customer we are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer (Backend focused) to take on the responsibility of end-to-end development for our innovative life-saving platform.

In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing life-saving products. Your contributions will extend beyond coding, directly impacting the future of 911 emergency communications and enhancing public safety as we know it today.
 

Key responsibilities

• Develop an emergency 911 eco-system
• Design, develop and maintain highly resilient services with fault-tolerant and self-healing functionalities
• Build modern, complex Web Apps and UI components.
• Develop our solution across global regions to provide any person in the world the ability to contact emergency services as quickly and effectively as possible
• Enable business growth by opening up the system to business partners
• Explore opportunities to apply AI technologies to 911 emergency communications
   

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Development with a focus on Microservices
• Experience in Scala/Java and/or Angular 13+ is a plus, but we welcome expertise in any technology
• Prior experience in building sophisticated web applications is a major advantage
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based development, preferably AWS
• Skilled in creating RESTful APIs
• A proactive "can-do" approach and exceptional interpersonal abilities
• Strong background in designing and implementing microservices-based solutions for cloud environments is a significant plus
• Experience with WebSockets is an added advantage
• Fluent English
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
