UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer for a fully remote job at an American design, brand, and marketing agency. The UI/UX Designer's role focuses on developing user interfaces for applications, websites, mobile devices, and other digital products through wireframing, research, and various design methodologies. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong attention to detail, adhere to strict deadlines, and demonstrate proficiency with design software and platforms. The responsibility of the UI/UX Designer is to create user-centered designs aimed at enhancing satisfaction and usability by improving accessibility, efficiency, and aesthetics. They conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and work with cross-functional teams to refine designs based on feedback and testing. They ensure that final designs comply with brand guidelines, industry standards, and best practices in user experience design.

Responsibilities.

Research:

• Conduct competitive analyses of other websites that operate in the same space
• Prepare customer analyses based on our target demographic and initial transactions
• Participate in creating a content development strategy
• Coordinate with project managers and the development team on issues like navigation, page routing, product page design and more
• Track usability goals and prepare reports for senior management

• Conduct usability tests on each independent type of page on the website and adapt based on best practices for user experience

   

Design:

• Develop and maintain design wire-frames and specifications based on user needs
• Collaborate with visual designers and creative directors to incorporate a visual or brand identity into the product
• Communicate screen designs, interaction models, end-to-end experiences, and the target audience to other members of the project team and to developers
• Understand the human-computer interface element of a design
• Compare the user experience of existing applications and work to design better, high functioning alternatives
• Creative ability to conceptualize and implement attractive designs, design ideas, storyboards, and process flows

Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong portfolio

• English B2-C1 level

• Work experience: 4+ years

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Software

• Willingness to explore industry trends in technology and design with the entire development team
• Solid understanding of digital production workflows, from wireframing and stylistic conception to preparation and markup of design files to ensure easy and clear translation of the design into responsive layouts
• Extensive understanding of mobile and web platforms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to present concepts, ideas, and insights to the project team and clients
• Familiarity with information architecture and interaction design, and experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Sketch, etc

Working hours: flexible, but should be available until 2 pm New York time zone for meetings or urgencies.
