Job Description
Full-Stack Drupal Developer (remote)
We are looking for a Full-Stack Drupal Developer with strong front-end skills to help us grow our Drupal 7 based Digital Learning Environment.
Working with a Senior Developer. The Full-Stack Developer will be responsible for configuration, custom development, theming, module/plugin development, integration, testing, and support. The Full Stack Developer will contribute to UI/UX decisions, will be expected to apply critical thinking to user experience and functionality across our portfolio, and will be regarded as an SME for usability and interface best practices and recommendations.
This position requires a combination of programming skills and aesthetics. The best candidates will have a strong understanding of industry trends and the Drupal ecosystem.
You will work remotely; communication will be primarily by IM/Video Conference. A developing English speaker, you may be required to represent the company during discussions with our external technical partners.

Responsibilities
Responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality, working with the development team to establish and guide the website architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability. Work closely with the Lead Developer, technical third-parties, and occasionally clients to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation.

Skills and Qualifications
Primary Skills
β€’ Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
β€’ 2+ years commercial experience
β€’ Extremely fluent with HTML5/XHTML and CSS
β€’ Experience working with PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery
β€’ Experience working with the Bootstrap Framework
β€’ Familiarity with source control systems
β€’ Ability to write JavaScript with and without the use of frameworks such as jQuery
β€’ Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
β€’ Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
β€’ Ability to understand CSS changes to have consistent style across platforms and browsers
β€’ Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
β€’ Ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently
β€’ Experience developing web solutions in Drupal 7 and PHP implementations in a LAMP environment
β€’ Advanced site-building experience including familiarity with Drupal 7 modules such as CTools, Views, and Panels
β€’ Experience creating custom Drupal modules
β€’ Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing)
β€’ Familiarity with H5P standard desirable
β€’ Experience developing Analytics/Reporting desirable
β€’ Degree-level equivalent education
