Our client in the heart of the Black Forest is seeking an application developer for Microsoft Business Central to strengthen our ERP team.

Our client has opted to internally program the update from Microsoft NAV 2017 to MS Business Central in order to seamlessly integrate our processes into the software. This presents a highly engaging project within the ERP environment of a manufacturing industrial company!

Language skills (the department head is proficient in German, English, and Portuguese), language level 1B is acceptable (as the job holder will also need to communicate with project and department managers regarding processes, German proficiency is unfortunately more crucial than one might anticipate in the traditional programming environment).

Tasks:

Assisting our internal NAV/BC team with the technical implementation of requirements within the realm of Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC

Analyzing departmental requirements, feasibility testing, and programming implementation in C/AL or AL.

Implementing necessary additional functions as part of the Business Central introduction

Documenting functions and conducting employee training

Requirements:

Understanding of business processes in industrial companies, with (business) informatics studies being advantageous.

Several years of experience with Microsoft Business Central is mandatory!

Strong programming skills in AL are indispensable!

Programming skills in Microsoft .NET (e.g., C#) are advantageous!

German language proficiency at least at level B1, preferably B2 or C1

Additional Information:
