Senior Java Engineer (offline)

Our client create industry-leading software solutions that fuel attendee engagement, ticket sales, and advertising solutions for more than 9,000 higher education, music, and theatre venues in 15 countries around the world.

As the Senior Software Engineer, you will be working alongside with a Manager Engineering, a few Software Engineers and a Quality Engineer to focus on improving and development of one of ours products.

Required skills:

• Experience working within a cross functional Agile development teams;

• 5+ years of experience in Java development, Spring;

• Experience with SQL, Microservices;

• Experience with Cloud Development;

• Good experience in cloud’s system design/architectural patterns, SOLID principles, and secure coding practices;

• Deep understanding of data structures and experience with relational databases;

• Keen interest to explore and evaluate new and emerging technologies, and practices;

• Possesses strong problem solving capabilities;

• Good verbal and written English communication skills;

• High level of self-organization.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Front-end development React or Angular;

• Cloud MS Azure;

• Experience with Docker.

Responsibilities:

• Work within a cross functional agile team to build software products;

• Design, implement, release, and support cloud-based software systems;

• Code reviews to ensure high quality;

• Propose and implement best cloud practices and solutions that could be useful for application support on the cloud;

• Continuous integration clean, scalable, robust and testable code;

• Propose ideas to improve our software products;

• Use and implementing of modern technologies/frameworks for your work.
