*Who we are looking for?*

A Lead Shopify developer who will build eCommerce websites using the Shopify/WP/Webflow platforms.

 

*Required skills:*

 

- 3+ years JavaScript

- 2+ years Shopify theme development/Liquid

- 2+ years Alpine/Vue.

- CSS/SCSS/Tailwind

- Experience using of WordPress and Webflow CMSs or other

- Experience with domain (DNS records) and VPS setting up

- English: Upper-Intermediate

 

Will be a plus:

- Shopify apps development

- Node.js

- PHP

- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Software Architecture.

 

*Responsibilities:*

 

- Work with a multitude of interesting stores and D2C brands

- Develop custom Shopify themes and functionality

- Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to Shopify

- Building on top of Shopify’s functionality using storefront APIs, liquid programming, meta fields, etc

- Page speed optimization of Shopify sites

- Implementing Conversion Rate Optimizations on Shopify stores

- Distributing tasks among the development team in collaboration with the Project Manager.

- Assisting in problem-solving in team.

- Estimating projects and tasks.

- Understanding business processes and e-commerce.

- Mentoring and training team members - conducting educational sessions, coaching, and mentoring to develop professional skills among team members.

- Overseeing code quality and architecture - ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural practices, conducting code reviews.

- Managing team conflicts in collaboration with the Project Manager - resolving conflicts and misunderstandings within the team, maintaining a healthy work environment.

- Reporting on project progress - regularly informing Project Manager about the status of projects.

- Participating in project and company strategy development - collaborating with management and other departments to develop and adjust strategy.

- Maintaining and developing corporate culture - implementing and sustaining corporate values and culture in the team's daily activities.

- Participating in hiring and performance evaluations - assisting in the recruitment of new employees and conducting performance evaluations of existing team members.
